The best sectional sofa manufacturers offer a quality made product covered by lengthy and extensive warranties. Several furniture companies fit this description. One such company is Palliser, initially established in 1944 by a Russian immigrant, Abram Albert DeFehr in Winnipeg, Canada. Another sectional manufacturer with an impeccable reputation is Klaussner. Hans Klaussner purchased Klaussner Furniture in 1979 and has since built the furniture manufacturer into a leader in the furniture industry. Klaussner’s offers an extensive variety of furniture pieces, making it very likely that shopping there first will lead to the discovery of whatever piece is desired. Lane Furniture began as a wooden chest manufacturer in 1912. It was established by John Lane and his son, Ed Lane and expanded into upholstered seating in 1972.

All three manufacturers offer stationery sectionals and reclining sectionals. Palliser’s sectionals are heavily padded and covered with leather and perfectly matched synthetic material on the backs. The reclining sectionals made by Palliser have removable backs allowing movers to transport them into smaller doorways, manual or automatic reclining features and stainless steel cup holders built into the arms. Klaussner produces the “Braydon” sofa, is a leather sofa available in a sectional as well as a three cushion sofa. The sofa is accented with nail heads along the base, rolled plush pleated arms and three over three plump cushions on the back and seat. Lane produces a beautiful white leather 7-piece sectional including an ottoman. It offers excellent lumbar support, a swivel end recliner with plush pillows and console storage in the ottoman.

Palliser, Klaussner and Lane all provide great comprehensive warranties for their furniture pieces. Palliser offers a 5-year pro-rated warranty which starts with 100% coverage for damage in the first year and ends in five years covering 20% of parts and labor. Klaussner’s frames and springs are warranted are under a limited lifetime warranty. Recliners and swivel motion furniture is warranted for 2 years for the mechanisms that control motion and seat cushions are warranted for 1 year. Lane Furniture carries a 7-year limited warranty on reclining mechanisms. Five years from the date of purchase all materials that go into the making of a “First Class Seating” product are warranted against defect.

Buying a product by either of these products is a good purchase. The workmanship that goes into these pieces is top quality. The sectionals are made with high quality fabrics, leathers, sturdy frames, plush foams, fillings and high quality springs. Owning a sectional from Palliser, Klaussner or Lane is an excellent investment in the future.
